This page contains links to information regarding the SandyDuck instrument layout. Since most "locations" actually contain multiple sensors, layout maps refer to each location by investigator's last names. Visit the SandyDuck Experiment Descriptions to find out what sensors are being deployed by each investigator.

Downloadable files

layout.wmf This is the same colored surf zone layout plan as above but in Windows Metafile format (vector image) - must be downloaded

layout.ps This is a black and white version of the surf zone layout plan in postscript format (landscape mode)

SD-deep.txt A tab-delimited text file containing the locations and depths of all the instruments located outside the surf zone. Note the column headings do not display correctly with a browser. This file needs to be downloaded first.

layout.txt A tab-delimited text file containing all the surf zone instrument locations. Check the heading lines for an explanation of the format. Note the column headings do not display correctly with a browser. This file needs to be downloaded first.

profile.txt A tab-delimited text file containing the alongshore locations of the "Mini-grid" survey lines along with their numerical designation.

sandycal.ps This is a printable multi-page postscript file of monthly calendars detailing the experiment schedule.

SD_instruments.pdf This is Mike Leffler's spreadsheet of each instrument, pipe, and sled deployment position in FRF coordinates and Lat/Long. The file is also available as a Microsoft Excel file: SD_instruments.xls
